Our journey began years ago. During a spontaneous trip to Meghalaya, we stood breathless under the roaring Nohkalikai Falls, watching the mist dance over the cliffs. That changed everything. That moment made a huge impact, like it was a call. A noise from the wild, lush, and mysterious forest, which became our second home: Northeast India.
Since then, we’ve been roaming, finding, and documenting the most magical places in Northeast India. From the quirky streets of Imphal to the serene monasteries in Tawang, from the groves of Mawphlang to the vibrant national park in Manipur—we’ve found the stories that you will not find in the travel brochures.
Why We Built This Website
We came to understand that the world is still unaware of Northeast India. As this spectacular region is overlooked or misunderstood. We wanted people to know about what they are missing. So, we created this platform. It is not only a travel guide but also a tribute to the culture, people, and natural beauty of this extraordinary land.
Our Mission:

Even if you’re a solo backpacker, or a family on an adventure trip, or someone looking for good WFA space, our mission is to help you get to the most amazing destinations in northeast India and to know this place and fall in love here, like we did.
Our vision is that this magical land gains a voice and increases its visibility, which the people of northeast India deserve.
The Soul of Northeast India — Told Through Us
The hills of Nagaland are like poems and melodies, the serene waters of unexplored Arunachal Pradesh are dancing along with the loud echoes; and the festivals of Mizoram and the monasteries of Sikkim are chanting. This is a bliss to travel through these places in Northeast India, which is beyond time, spirit, and regular life. Everything that we write, every picture that we post, and every itinerary we create is our way of saluting this place. This website is our love letter to a region that surprises us, moves us, and teaches us.
Why Northeast India?
When we talk about Northeast India, we recommend that people travel here because people do not know about this place; it is very much misunderstood, but it has the most extraordinary, beautiful parts of the country. With eight vibrant states—Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram, Nagaland, Tripura, and Sikkim—the region is rich in biodiversity, indigenous cultures, unique festivals, traditions, food, and untold stories. Mostly, places in Northeast India are completely overlooked or thought to be tough to travel to. We want to change that thought by showing the destination in north east India as it truly is—beautiful, complex, evolving, and worthy of deeper attention.
